Players can register online through the club's registration portal. Simply follow the registration instructions and complete the required payment and membership details.
What Are the Membership and Registration Fees?
Player registration fees are made up of several components that support basketball at the local, territory, and national levels:
- Basketball Australia Game Development Levy: $5.61
- Basketball NT Membership (365 Days): $55.00
- Darwin Basketball League Fee: $150.00
- Junior Club Registration Fee: $100.00
- Senior Club Registration Fee: $50.00
Junior Players Total: $310.61
Senior Players Total: $260.61
These fees help cover insurance, competition administration, player development programs, club operations, facilities, equipment, and the ongoing growth of basketball within our community.
What age groups can join the club?
Palmerston Basketball Club welcomes players of all ages, from u10s junior development programs through to senior competition teams.
Do I need basketball experience to join?
No. We welcome players of all skill levels, from beginners learning the game to experienced players seeking competitive opportunities.
When and where are training sessions held?
Training days, times, and venues vary by team and age group. Your coach or team manager will provide details before the season begins.
Are uniforms provided?
No, you will need to purchase a uniform. Club playing uniforms are provided for purchase to registered players. Uniform collection is available every Monday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Palmerston Recreation Centre (PRC).
How can I volunteer?
Parents, guardians, and community members can volunteer as coaches, team managers, committee members, scorers, or event helpers.
Can I try basketball before committing?
Yes. The club offers opportunities for new players to experience basketball before making a full-season commitment.
Do parents need to help with scoring?
Yes. Each family is rostered for scoring duty several times throughout the season to help games run smoothly.
Who do I contact if I have a question or concern?

What policies does the club follow?
The club operates in accordance with Basketball Australia, Basketball NT, and club policies relating to child safety, member protection, complaints, player welfare, and fair participation.
