Volunteers & Parents
VOLUNTEER
Conduct
Players' families are also expected to observe appropriate standards of conduct, including:
- abiding by referee decisions at all times
- supporting our coaches
- refraining from instructing players
Parents
Parents, guardians, and carers play a vital role in supporting our club through volunteering and helping create a positive experience for all players.
Score Duty
Scoring duty is a simple and important game-day role that helps ensure matches run smoothly and fairly throughout the season.
Club Members
Parents
The parents, guardians and carers of our young players are expected to assist the club through volunteering.
All families are rostered to undertake scoring duties throughout the season, but this is the minimum commitment expected.
Our club needs many volunteers to function and there are many roles available including membership of the committee, coaching and team managing as well as assisting with events.
If you are interested in a role with the club or have a skill to offer please contact a member of the committee.

Volunteer Roles
Scoring duty
Each family is rostered on for scoring duty about two to three times a season and possibly a third or fourth time if your team makes the finals.
This role involves collecting the game tickets from each player, scoring the game with a member from the other team. Below is a PDF Guide on Courstide and how to score. You can also watch this YouTube Reference - Courtside Instructional Video: Part 3 - Assigning Scores, Fouls & Timeouts here
